The first thing on our list of fun things to do in Park City, is The Park Silly Sunday Market. It is a weekly outdoor market that takes place in Park City, but it is only during the summer months. The market has a variety of vendors selling unique and handmade goods. Most of these are local artists and include art, jewelry, clothing, crafts, and many other unique trinkets.
In addition to the market, there is also live music, street performers, and a kids’ area with games and activities. The market also features a “Green Street” section, which focuses on eco-friendly and sustainable products and practices.
The Park Silly Sunday Market is a community event that aims to promote local artisans and businesses, while also providing a fun and festive atmosphere for visitors and locals alike. This is one of the most popular activities for locals and visitors alike. Park City is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and definitely some of the best views in Utah. The mountains, forests, and hiking trails are the perfect place to spend a summer day. There are plenty of trails to choose from, so you can find one that is the perfect level of difficulty for you. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can even go for a bike ride down one of the mountain biking trails.
3. Visit the Park City Museum:
The Park City Museum is a great place to learn about the history of Park City and the surrounding area. The museum has a variety of exhibits that will teach you about the area’s mining history, the early days of skiing, and the Olympic games that were held in Park City in 2002.
4. Take a horseback riding lesson:
Have you ever ridden horse back? Your summer visit to Utah, may be the time to try it out. Park City is a great place to learn how to horseback ride. Deer Valley Resort Golf Course: Set amidst aspen groves, as well as a few white-tail deer, this course is a must-play when visiting Park City. Deer Valley features 6,365 yards at par 71, and is sure to challenge any level of player. Don’t miss their signature 10th hole, which is considered one of Utah’s best.
Promontory Ranch Club: With stunning views of the Wasatch Mountains and Snake Creek Canyon, it’s no wonder Promontory Ranch Club is one of the most popular places to golf in Park City.

The Deer Valley Resort is a great place to see live music in Park City. The resort has a variety of different musical performances throughout the summer. The Big Stars and Bright Nights, has been a popular concert series in the summer time, dazzling audiences for 15 years. They bring artists from classical to country, and everything in between. This is definitely worth checking out when in Park City in the summer time.

Catch a “birds eye view” of Park City. A hot air balloon ride will you give you a unique perspective that you can’t get anywhere else. You will float high above the city and have unobstructed views all around you. This makes a great date, or bring the family and give them an experience they’ll never forget.

The Rock Cliffs are a beautiful place to explore. There are plenty of hiking trails, cliffside views, and rock formations. This is a great place to bring your camera and snap some photos of the incredible scenery and overlooks.

There are two different zip line courses to choose from, so you can pick the one that best suits your level of adventure.T his is a great activity for the whole family.

The Provo River is home to plenty of blue ribbon fishing. There are many fishing guide services that offer lessons, and will take you to some of the best spots on the river. If you want to learn fly fishing, they take people of all skills. For the avid fisherman, you can sneak away from the family and ask for an advanced guide service.

The Provo River is a great place for rafting. There are plenty of different companies that offer guided rafting tours. Or if you can grab some tubes, and float down the river with the family. Just be sure and bring life vests, as it is required on the river. This is a nice relaxing activity to do during the day, and also a great way to cool off in the summer. It does get crowded, so if you want to miss the crowds, be sure and get out early.
13. Mountain bike down Park City Mountain Resort:
Park City Mountain Resort is a destination for local mountain bikers and out of town thrill seekers alike. There are several different trails to choose from, so you can push your skills, or take a nice mellow run down. It’s nice because you can take the lift, up to the top, and have a nice cruise down the mountain.
14. Go for a swim at the Jordanelle State Park:
Jordanelle State Park is a beautiful reservoir to bring the family for a picnic day or a swim to cool off. Jordanelle State Park many different areas to set up your spot for the day,. Have a picnic, and lounge out on the lake. This is a great activity to bring your family out and enjoy on a nice sunny day.
15. Take an ATV tour:
Park City is a great place to go ATVing. Several different companies offer ATV tours of the area. This is a great activity for couples or families.
